Establishing a New York office? Rent from 4 Times Square, Conde Nast Building | Metro Manhattan Office SpaceThe 48-story Conde Nast Building, located prominently on Times Square, features a modern glass curtain wall. In an effort to create continuity with the area's eclectic urban fabric, Fox + Fowle Architects incorporated many different architectural styles, so the complex actually looks like a cluster of several structures. Double-story windows were articulated on two sides to reduce the scale of the the building in half. On the ground floor, a scrolling LED panel displays the current NASDAQ stock prices, a reference to the lights and flash of surrounding Times Square. The building features green technology, including solar panels built into the facade, and low E glazing to reduce energy loads, which are 10-15% less than traditional office buildings. Frank Gehry designed a cafeteria for Conde Nast employees, which features undulating panels of blue glass. Other tenants include Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, and Duane Reade on the ground floor. The building's location on Times Square provides quick access to most major subway lines and the Port Authority bus terminal.
