The Fuller Building originally served as the headquarters for the Fuller Construction Company, who had previously occupied the Flatiron Building. The design of their new 40-floor tower, built in 1929 at 57th Street and Madison Avenue, features some Art Deco elements on both the interior and the exterior. The exterior is clad in limestone, and it is capped with a pyramid shaped roof, decorated with a triangular pattern and gilding. The three-story entrance to the building is accentuated by a sculptural clock featuring construction workers and an abstract interpretation of the city's skyline. They lobby contains mosaics and bronze-plated elevators.

Today, the building is noted as a prominent location for art galleries, as the lower floors feature high ceilings. The Fuller Building recently underwent a renovation to improve its energy efficiency and management implemented programs for recycling. Tenants of the building include Corneliani, Jacobson Partners, Levin Capital and Polo. High-end retail tenants occupy the ground floor, including Coach and Prada. The Fuller Building is convenient to several subway lines, including the 4, 5, 6, N, R and F trains as well as the M31, M57 and Q32 buses.
