Designed in the Art Deco and Art Moderne styles, the Simon & Schuster Building is a portion of the Rockefeller Center. Its facade features defined vertical elements clad in limestone with glass infill. The structure was originally known as the U. S. Rubber Company Building. A 19-story addition was completed in the mid-1950s by architects Harrison & Abramovitz. The RKO Center Theater, which originally occupied a portion of the site, was demolished to make way for the new portion.
Aside from Simon & Schuster, other office tenants include Christie's and M. Arthur Gensler & Associates. Tenants enjoy direct subway access to the B, D, F, and M trains, and a direct connection the Rockefeller Center shopping concourse. There is also indoor, onsite parking available.
